When I was a girl I remember looking forward to going to the dentist because they made the experience so much fun.
One of my first jobs as a teen was working in dentistry. I have continued in dentistry over the 38 years, expanding into Periodontics, Orthodontics, and General Dentistry. It is so rewarding to see the confidence people feel after their smile has been straightened or their teeth have been restored to beautiful and fully functioning.
As your Front desk and billing coordinator, I will do my best to make you feel valued, seen, and heard. People always remember how you make them feel!
I have been married 42 years, have 2 wonderful daughters, and 7 amazing grandkids.They are my heartbeat! I enjoy spending my time off with my family, or adventures with friends exploring, kayaking, hiking, bike riding, lunch dates, coffee dates, reading, and knitting. I am also an artist and am happy with a paint brush in my hand!

Hi everyone!, I am Paula; I was born and raised in Costa Rica. Since I was in middle school I knew that dentistry was my calling. I had a great first visit at the dental office and since then I knew that that’s what I wanted to do.
I traveled to Europe as a young teenager and I started chasing my dream to work in a dental office. But it wasn’t until I went to Fort Hood in Copperas Cove, TX that I became a dental assistant; since then I have loved my job.
A very interesting fact about me is that it wasn’t until I was in 8th grade that I went to the dentist. I avoided going to the dentist because my mom and I were afraid of it.
But that first visit was amazing. It made me realize the importance of making the patient feel comfortable and secure. As your dental assistant, I will dedicate my time to listening to you, to make you feel welcome and comfortable. I will show you genuine interest and understanding while providing exceptional and gentle care.
Some of my favorite things to do are hiking, road trips, serving at my church, movies, travel to different countries, pizza, and of course family time. I can’t wait to meet you!
